Hello SIS community!
One of the two Volunteer Coordinator roles will be opening up after this school year. Kim will be moving on with her graduating 8th grader. Kelli plans to remain and we are looking for someone to fill the vacant position. This role supports SIS staff, PTC and the Board to help manage volunteer needs of Sauvie Island School throughout the year. It works well to have two folks split the role and there is room to coordinate based on interest and availability of both coordinators. Ideally, we would have a new coordinator shadow a bit by the end of this school year with both Kim and Kelli. We are happy to meet and talk with anyone interested in more detail about the role, workflow and time commitment as well as answer any additional questions you may have.
This volunteer role is very dynamic and offers a wonderful opportunity to join with parents, staff, students and the surrounding community throughout the school year.
