Great job Betsy Powell, SIS PTC and Ms. Meeuwsen!
Scappoose SD does not have school on Friday 4/12, therefore if your student normally rides the AM district bus to the bus hub - these buses will NOT be available today. This does not affect the Island bus.
The SIS Talent Show is set for Friday, April 26th.
All students are welcome to be involved in one act for this talent show. Acts must be 2 minutes or shorter. Students with talents that are not conducive for the gym can submit a 1 min video clip of them doing their talent. Also, if a student has a talent but would rather not perform or present it, they can submit up to 3 photos and a brief description of the talent. Photos, video clips, and descriptions can be submitted to Mr. Hess via email: rhess@sauvieislandschool.org. (All photos and videos will be reviewed and approved by Mrs. Fisher.)
To get signed up for the talent show, you need to:
1. Have your signed permission slip back to the SIS office by April 18th.
2. Each act will need to be approved before the show. Mrs. Fisher will be approving your act in person on April 10th, 11th, 17th & 18th between 11:20-1:00 (during each grade band’s lunch recess)
All acts must be approved to participate in the school talent show.
Time to choose your act and get practicing! Have fun!
