
Our yearly tradition of decorating a pumpkin started today. Student pairs in 4th and 5th grade have volunteered to create and apply the design each day. Thanks to Megan Hallstone for the donated pumpkin.

Mrs. Roberts' fourth grade class enjoyed a field trip to Topaz Farm on Monday: Community building, learning about flowers, counting change, making memories. Thank you Topaz Farm!

Thanks to the work of Sauvie Island Center and Connecting Canopies volunteers, our upper garden beds have been revitalized for use with our gardening program. SIC educator Cutaumoc led our 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grade students in a ceremony to celebrate the unique Sauvie Island geography and history as we reopen these beds.

Meet your local scouts
This is a community event, not hosted by Sauvie Island School.


Join this community yoga class, Monday at 8:30 am at the Grange. It is a one-hour class.
Anyone is welcome, we work at beginning levels providing stretching, balancing, and strength work. Please bring your mat and props if you have them: blocks, blanket, and strap.
