On Friday, February 16th the children will get to show off their sports pride by wearing their favorite jerseys, t-shirts, or colors.

The school will be holding vision screenings for students on Friday, March 1st. We are looking for about 5-6 volunteers starting at 9:00 a.m. (arrive about 8:45) until about 12 p.m. to help facilitate the process. Our wonderful staff will be in an all day in-service this Friday, February 2, 2024. We are hoping to support them by providing items for breakfast and lunch (and treats between). Please consider supporting by signing up for breakfast and/or lunch items. There are about 25 staff so please provide enough for all. We are hoping all items will be brought in either the afternoon before or morning of. Please email us at volunteers@sauvieislandschool.org if you are able to contribute and we can help you sign up. Our middle school information night is coming up soon. This event is for families and students to come learn more about what SIS offers in grades 6, 7 and 8. It is open to everyone whether or not you are a current SIS family. Come learn more about our place based educational philosophy and the benefits of experiential community based learning. Come meet our current staff, parents, students and alumni who will share information and answer your questions.
Pizza will be provided.
